The whole structure of the farm "La Mezzaluna" is located in the Trieste Karst park, only 2 km from the sea, in the immediate vicinity of the motorway exit Sistiana, 5 km from neighboring Slovenia and 18 km from downtown Trieste. At the inside of the complex there is a large wooded park that can accommodate over 170 cars, a playground for the entertainment of children of more than 2000 square meters. and an organized horseback riding with 24 boxes, attached stables and riding school. The restaurant has about 200 seats inside and another 300 outside, placed under the arcade and beneath two large neighboring gazebo. The activities of the farm also grows in the hotel hospitality that consists of 7 double rooms, all with bath, satellite TV and minibar.

The purely agricultural activities is mainly represented by the goats breeding for the production and processing of dairy products, fresh and mature cheese, for direct sales and / or administered in the adjoining restaurant.
The rearing of hens also ensure daily availability for the direct sale of fresh eggs.

Last but not least, we remind the business of slaughtering and meat processing pork from our farm.
